Description

This is a secure door garage door brace made out of extruded Aluminum does not include all of the hardware but enough of it to start an install for your garage door. You’ll just need to get some patio bolts for bolting it to the floor and some wood screws or tap cons for mounting the header bracket up at the top and then some small quarter inch bolts I believe or 5/16”for going through your garage door hinges. This particular bracket is for a single car garage, It was used in my garage before I got a hurricane rated garage door.  One of the failure modes during a hurricane is if your garage door blows in and The wind gets in it will take your roof off. So this device is an inexpensive, mitigation.
