Crate BE-18210 Bass Relex Speaket Cabinet.

Crate BE-18210 Bass Relex Cabinet. 2-10" speakers and 1-18" speaker in a reflex designed cabinet. The parent company of Crate was St. Louis Music, who also made Ampeg amps and speakers from the 1990's, throughout the 2000's. This cabinet was made along side Ampegs in the same factory. The 2-10's give articulated highs, while the 1-18" supports with warm lows. Most 18" speakers are slow to radiate sound but because this cabinet is only 13" deep, it is quick to radiate. No worries about too much pressure behind the 18" speaker at high volume, as the reflex design let's the air pass through the center reflex opening. This is truly an outstanding bass cabinet. Comes with the stock casters for ease of movement. Because the cabinet is slimmer than Ampeg cabinets and only 40" tall, it can fit in the back-seat of a sedan. Very rare to see these come up for sale. Don't wait as it will be gone in a second at this price. Has less than typical tolex wear for a cabinet of this vintage.
