Description
Two vases with stoutly potted bodies in square sections and supporting shoulders rising to a flared neck. The panels of the body are painted with female maidens amidst a garden and a man with a young attendant tending overgrown foliage, while the top neck panels are decorated with nature landscapes and scenes of people engaging in conversation. Each vase has a pair of lion head handles. These are both in fantastic overall condition with no cracks chips or damage. They just have light scratches and wear and tear from being so old. They are either from the late Qing dynasty from the republic period. They’re very well refined in the way that they’re crafted with very fine brushstrokes and details to all of the things painted on them. Take a look at all the photos to see general condition. Came from a nice Asian Antiques collection in Alameda California.
