What a great guitar, with features usually reserved for much higher end instruments! Schecter builds great guitars- for instance - where else can you find a 3 piece maple neck thru body design with extra jumbo frets on an ebony board for this price? Regardless it being used- the frets are like new- perfect. String thru body over a tone pros locking tunomatic bridge, kept in check with Schecters own locking tuners and a graph tech XL nut? And it stays in tune great with ernie ball 9-42 super slinkys... this guitar rips!! A pair of EMG HZ H3 humbuckers take care of the electronics... an alnico H3 in the neck position and a H3 Ceramic rail in the bridge, selected by a 3 way switch. The entire guitar is beautifully bound- single around neck and headstock and multiple around body- sets it off beautifully. And then theres the fretboard inlay at the 12th fret... a Hells Gate skull inlaid with multiple pieces of mother of pearl... and beautifully done! Im never afraid to show off a guitar when its been played and has the honest wear and tear that goes with being played. There are little dings on the body, nothing to affect how this guitar plays and functions. Great guitars get played, and this is a great guitar.
