The point is to play with the original hardware for the cost of the experience and not for the cost of a collectible item like Pokémon game cartridges. I’ve used an emulator personally and it’s just not quite the same, I am not a collector. I just like to play games the way they were made to be played for the proper experience. I think it’s pretty insane how expensive the games can be when they age, so I would never buy an “authentic” one for myself. So here’s how I deal with not paying for a “collectible” but still get to play with original hardware personally. Full Transparency, no trying to trick anyone. These are repos.
