Description
Very rare 1966 Harley-Davidson BTH Bobcat 175 Motorcycle. The Bobcat was a one year only model and only 1150 were assembled in 1966. This is the last of the light weights built by Harley-Davidson from 1(contact info removed) (Sometimes referred to as Hummers). This motorcycle is pretty complete and a great candidate for restoration. The motor kicks over and seems to have good compression. This motorcycle comes with two extra frames, an extra gas tank, and an extra ABS resin body panel that is in restorable condition. I looked for a long time before I found this one and bought it with plans to restore it. But I have now realized I have way too many projects and have to let things go. Willie G. Davidson designed the BTH Bobcat as one of his first major design projects. His one piece molded-resin body covered the gas tank and rear fender and incorporated a buddy saddle. The swing arm suspension is under the frame like that of the modern Softail H-D. No this motorcycle currently does not run and no you cannot ride it home. I will consider reasonable offers.
