Description
This is not your typical Squier by Fender Stratocaster Guitar. This is one of the only guitars designed by Squier and is especially unique due to its coil tapping pickups providing for a range of unique tones. The early 2004/2005 Squier '51s were the precursor to the distinct Fender Pawn Shops, and you don't see these around too often but they've grown a bit a cult-like following due to their affordability and tonal range. They basically have a Strat body, a telecaster neck and a funky P-Bass-like pickguard providing for a pretty funky look. Im asking $200 OBO on this, and if you research a bit on this guitar you won't be disappointed. Here is a great review and video of what this affordable surprising tone beast can do: https://youtu.be/XgNj0ZF0APY The facts on this guitar: The Squier '51 delivers great style and enormous tonal versatility, with a powerful SH pickup configuration, rotary pickup selector, push-pull coil tap and more. Features include a basswood body, satin-finish maple neck with "C"-shaped profile, 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets, single-coil Stratocaster neck pickup and hot humbucking bridge pickup, knurled "chrome dome" master volume control knob that also functions as a push-pull bridge pickup coil-selector switch (full humbucking or inner coil only for single-coil bridge pickup tone), knurled "chrome dome" three-position rotary pickup selector switch (in place of a tone control knob), single-ply white pickguard and six-saddle hard-tail bridge.
