Description

92 jeep Wrangler Sahara edition. Manual transmission.4.0 L 6 cylinder inline. 4 wheel hi/low on manual shift. Aftermarket bestop driver seat, bestop supertop on replacement OEM hardware. Also has LED tail lights. Replaced the universal joint a few years ago, and it got a custom muffler/back half of the exhaust system (the og rusted out). I've had this Jeep for almost 20 years and I've loved every day with it, but these last few years I drive it less and it sits in the garage more. Extremely easy to work on the basics - radiator, starter, plugs and cap are all easily accessible and easy to replace. Only a few strikes against it, and nothing I found too troubling or annoying enough to fix: Fuel gauge stops reading correctly around 1/4 tank left; the rear main seal has a bit of a leak, so it takes about a quart of oil a month; the windshield cowl seal needs to be replaced - causes a little leaking through to the e-brake. E brake release is a little wonky cause the metal got bent. Driver side door handle likes to drop the pin and fall apart. It's been from Mexico to Canada and back home again. It's taken me on many long roads and great adventures, hopefully it will do the same for you.
