1996 thunderbird lx4.6 from florida car cleanest 1996 car you will find around here. has the 4.6 v8 and same auto trans as the crown vic, mustang gt, and town car, drivetrain known for reliability and longevity. odometer stopped reading at 131,440 when i started driving the car a few months ago and i put the approximate mileage around 140-145k runs and drives perfect needs some work on the suspension rides a little hard and needs an upper control arm bushing in the back (yes back, independent rear suspension) none of which are huge jobs. just had the intake replaced and that’s the main thing on these motors people worry about. brakes are good tires are good i drive this car every day and it has never given me any problems. looking for something 4 wheel drive let me know
