Spoke with the sales manager (Christian) again this morning trying—once more—to get in touch with AutoNation Mobile Mechanic. Still no luck: the number listed on their site and on Google routes to an automated message that says they’re closed, every time.

What’s worse, Christian was dismissive of a serious safety issue: while driving on the highway, the driver’s door opened and would not latch. This is now yet another major mechanical problem on a vehicle I’ve owned for a very short time. After months of repeated issues and repairs, I’ve received next to no meaningful support or accountability. At this point, I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership based on my experience. I’m actively considering legal counsel to review options and hold the dealership, management, and service partners accountable.

Prior update (June 6, 2025):
I’ve made multiple attempts to resolve issues directly with AutoNation USA Wesley Chapel after purchasing my 2014 Range Rover Sport Autobiography, but the lack of follow‑through has been disappointing. Their public response asked me to call a generic number, which routed me to a sales rep—not the GM—and I’ve been leaving messages daily since the day after purchase with no callback.

On June 4, a mobile mechanic (scheduled through Christian, a manager) arrived at my home for what was supposed to be on‑site repairs. Instead, they took the vehicle without clear updates. Aside from a vague email Wednesday night, there was no communication until Friday afternoon—after I went to the dealership in person—finally informing me they were detailing the car and preparing to return it. This process was unclear, unprofessional, and left me without a vehicle for days.

If I hadn’t purchased the highest‑tier protection plan, I’d be paying out of pocket for issues present immediately after purchase. Christian has provided no meaningful support or accountability throughout. The vehicle itself has potential, but the experience has been marked by miscommunication, lack of transparency, and poor post‑sale service.

Original purchase experience included delays, a missing maintenance plan that we had to correct before signing, unresolved vehicle issues (non‑working cruise control, radar sensor error), and delivery in an uncleaned state despite multiple promises to detail. I paid for professional detailing myself, only for the vehicle to be returned dirty again after service.

Bottom line: AutoNation’s process has lacked organization, clear customer support, and basic accountability. If you choose to buy here, triple‑check everything and get every promise in writing.

The best experience! Jim was the most helpful and honest sales man I have ever met in my entire life he assured me the car was available he made sure payments where going to be in my rang before I made the hour drive and car was ready to go when I got there at 7pm. Pedro was the very helpful as well 10/10 experience he had us in and out made sure we loved the car and didn’t add any crazy fees everything was explained to a T I couldn’t be more happier with my purchase will be returning to this location .

Xander was absolutely amazing. That young man is going to make your business money. he was absolutely patient & hard working. He explained everything that was needed & was very helpful. He did wonderfully & would recommend him! 100 out of 10 service! our entire experience was not great, but if it weren’t for him we would of cancelled the sale & walked out. we were there for 4 and half hours to pay cash for the car.
