1948 Chevy truck runs well upgrades asking $55,000 This vehicle when initially purchased was broken down completely top to bottom, down to the last bolt. It was then that the process to rebuilt began with the engine. It too was broken down and rebuilt cleaning all the parts and replacing the seals and lifters. Certain items on the engine have been chromed. The suspension and under carriage were also addressed and cared for. Air shocks were added to the rear of the truck. New tires added all around with painted rims to match. The focus was then placed on the exterior, sanding and replacing fenders, bumpers, glass, molding, doors, cab, tailgate and bed lining. The bed was fitted with blonde pine smartly varnish finish. The body was then sanded, powder coated and painted several times giving it the rich effect of red as well as the firewall and interior prior to inserting the engine. Most if not all wires were replaced to include the wire harness. The attention then focused on the interior of the cab. All parts were replaced, the steering wheel, shift, radio, restored heater (operating), front dash, lights in and out, reupholster seats, headliner (U.S. Flag), door liners, windows all around and cab floor. The radio is equipment to handle a Ipod which wiring can be located from inside of the glove compartment. All in all, every single nut and bolt have been replaced. This was the ultimate in refurbishment projects which took a total of five (5) years to complete, with the utmost of care. A buyers dream.
