Rotating them downwards makes the bust bigger whereas rotating upwards makes the bust smaller. As you rotate the dial wheel, you’ll notice that there are sizes on the horizontal plastic bridge. To adjust it to a certain size, adjust the dial wheel until the edges of the dress form align with the desired size. NECK SIZE ADJUSTMENT/PIN CUSHION To adjust the neck size, there is a very janky big dial that is not notated with size. You just have to push down and turn clockwise to increase the size and keep measuring it with a measuring tape to get it to the desired size. HEM MARKER This is a nice feature, and is definitely one reason why you’d need a dress form in the first place. There are some things you can do without a dress form but hemming evenly is not one of them. This hem marker is a clamp that will secure your fabric as shown below. It has a little slot that you can push a pin through. This ensures that your pin is going through parallel to the ground. However, the measurements on the hem marker are not great in helping with making a desired hem length. You can fold the hem under and pin through 2 layers of fabric but it is hard to do so accurately without ironing it beforehand to create a crisp edge. The height of the hem marker is easily adjustable with a lever roughly between 22.5″ – 49″ (57cm – 124cm) from the top of the shoulders. You can adjust the circumference of your hem roughly between 11″ – 18″ (28cm – 46cm)
