1800 Antique Rope Bed With Trundle Full Bed, Twin Bed

This is an early solid heavy wooden rope bed with trundle bed. I believe to be from the early 1800s. This bed has been converted with wood side rails and comes with wood platform to hold a regular mattress. The saying "Sleep Tight" came from rope beds!! Rope beds always needed tightening. They had ropes held in by pegs. You can still see the holes in the head and foot board rail. Seems to be original finish. See pics for condition. there are some cracks, scratches and wear as to be expected but still very SOLID. They don’t make beds like this anymore. 1st two pictures are example pictures only
