Definitive Technology Demand D9 Bookshelf Speakers & ST1 Stands

Parting with my dearly beloved Definitive Technology Demand Series D9 Bookshelf Speakers and their accompanying ST1 Stands. I just recently upgraded to some Polk Audio LSiM 703 books and it's time for me to clear out inventory, as they say, before my wife does something drastic. I received these speakers brand spanking new in February 2018 and have been using them alongside Marantz electronics up until yesterday. They're wonderfully "broken in" if you buy into that and sound absolutely amazing. They were treated with the utmost care and never abused in any way. I've retained all of the original packaging and meticulously put these back into their boxes for your easy transport. However, if you want me to plug one in before you walk away with them, I'm happy to do so. The ST1 stands were gently used before I received them, but still in fantastic shape. Not a scratch on them, but the box is a touch beat up. Overall, they're sturdy as all hell and do a really great job with noise absorption. I think they weigh around 25 lbs a piece and are great around small animals and tiny humans (they're about 31" tall). You can't pack them with sand or shot, but I don't think it's necessary. If you're looking for a serious upgrade to your bookshelf game, look no further than these two pieces of equipment. I think you'll be really pleased with the sweet music these deliver. The Demands are really natural sounding, a perfect complement to analog listening, but do a great job with just about anything you throw at them. This is being sold as a pair as stands are hard to sell by their lonesome. The Demand D9s retail for $750 and the stands $400. I'm willing to part with both for $650, which I think is an absolute steal, but I'm wiling to listen to offers assuming you don't try and low-ball for these bad boys. Best, Paul
