Description

This is a stunning antique Thai Buddhist statue. It’s in fantastic shape, considering that it is most likely from the middle of the 1800s. It is possibly even older than that. The tip of the crown is slightly bent, but that is normal for the statues as they were made to put into much larger Buddha statues in order to amplify their power. The gold gilding on it is still in great shape and overall it is a very pleasant and powerful statue to look at. It is also quite large as these were usually smaller. Take a look at all the photos to see general condition, dimensions, and weight.
