Description
This is one of the first models from Esteve, a renowned guitar workshop established in Spain in 1957. You can imagine the craftmanship that went into these guitars in those years. It has a solid cedar top and sapele double layer sides, it can be compared to the current Esteve Modelo 3. I was shocked to hear how good this guitar sounds. It's several steps up from any beginner guitar and the solid cedar really resonates and can produce such different tones. I recommend you try it, just to see what it can do. Scale 650 mm Nut width 54 mm String spacing at the nut 43 mm String spacing at the bridge 55 mm Action at the 12th fret: e 4 mm, E 4.8 mm (could be lowered ~0.5 mm) No significant issues. The tuners still work very well, and there are no cracks, only some minor separation of the finish at the seam. Backs and sides have a few scratches and the tops has a few dings and playing marks. The bridge might have been reglued at some point. Frets have just been minorly dressed and polished, they look and feel new. I have also just restrung it and it can't wait to be played! Comes with vintage hard case.
