Description: The Gretsch 14x5 USA Custom Bronze Snare Drum (G4160B) features 1mm bronze shell with center knurled stripe, 45-degree bearing edges, 8 Lugs, 4mm die-cast hoops, Micro-Sensitive throw-off, Snap-In key holder, 42-strand snare wires, Gretsch Permatone drumheads, polished bronze finish, chrome hardware, and Gretsch Round Badge. Sonically between a brass and copper shell, bronze is a very musical metal, as shown by its use in cymbal making for years. Bronze snares are somewhat darker than their brass counterparts, but still have a clear, defined high end and great stick articulation.
