We are parting ways with our Bose Cinemate Series II speaker system. We bought it new in 2010 for $550. The sound is really great; we just suddenly had a “need” for a speaker with Bluetooth connectivity, and I was given a Bluetooth soundbar, so we’re cycling this out. The sound from this system is better / “fuller” than the sound from the new sound bar with which we’ve replaced it. The system is wired, and of course, the speaker cables are included. The system connects with your other devices with old-school analog cables or an optical cable. There isn’t an HDMI port. It comes with a mini remote control. For years, we have controlled it (and our media setup collectively) with a Harmony universal remote and later with an Amazon Echo Cube remote.
