04–05 Acura TL HID Headlight Assemblies + New Morimoto 6K Bulbs – Big savings vs OEM

Selling a pair of complete HID headlight assemblies for a 2004–2005 Acura TL (non-Type S), plus a brand new set of Morimoto 6000K D2S HID bulbs. I bought these for my lady’s 2007 TL Type S and found out the hard way that Honda changed the ballast/DRL setup on the 07–08/Type S cars. They do not fit that year, but they are plug and play on a 2004–2005 TL that originally came with factory HID. OEM COMPARISON If you price this out in OEM parts, it gets ugly fast. That is $1,042.86 for the pair of OEM assemblies. OEM D2S HID bulb 33116-SL0-003 is $148.65 each, so a pair is $297.30. Total OEM cost for housings plus HID bulbs, even at the online discount price, is about $1,340.16. At dealer MSRP it is closer to $1,941.94. I am asking $600 OBO for everything. That is roughly $740 less than the online OEM cost, which works out to about 55 percent off, and around 70 percent off if you compare to full dealer MSRP. WHAT THESE ARE These are full PERDE aftermarket HID headlight assemblies, not just lenses. They include the housing, clear lens, projector, reflectors, rear caps, etc. They are the HID type that corresponds to OEM part numbers 33101-SEP-A02 and 33151-SEP-A02. Black housing, clear lens with a slightly more modern, aggressive look than stock, DOT and SAE stamped, and marked “Made in Taiwan” on the back. Condition: they have never been fully installed or wired up on a car. The passenger side is clean. The driver side has a small cosmetic crack in the inner top bevel area behind the outer clear lens. It does not go through the lens, does not affect sealing, mounting, or light output, and you really only notice it if you get up close and look for it. All tabs are intact, lenses are clear with no yellowing or haze. There is currently no condensation or moisture inside either assembly. You will reuse your existing HID ballasts, and you will also reuse your current mounting hardware on the car (screws, clips, brackets, etc.). These assemblies drop into the stock locations and bolt up like OEM. CONDENSATION NOTE (JUST FYI) These particular lights do not have condensation now. I am just saying this because it comes up a lot with any vented headlamp. Vented OEM-style headlights can sometimes show a light fog on the inside of the lens when temperatures and humidity swing quickly. That is normal for this design and usually clears in about 2 to 4 weeks of regular use as things heat cycle, or faster if you run the high beams for around 15 minutes. I am mentioning it now so no one panics later if they see a little fog after a cold or wet morning. MORIMOTO HID BULBS Included is a brand new pair of Morimoto XB35 D2S HID bulbs in 6000K. These are genuine Morimoto bulbs, new in the box with the authenticity label. They are D2S (P32D) capsules, 6000K color temperature (clean white with a slight cool tint), designed for 35–55 watt ballasts, with an estimated output around 2,800 to 3,500 lumens and a rated life of roughly 2,500 hours. They are a very nice upgrade compared to no-name eBay bulbs in terms of both brightness and consistency. WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED (BULB SIZES FOR YOUR REFERENCE) These assemblies come with the new Morimoto D2S HID capsules only. You will need to reuse or purchase your own bulbs for the other front lights. Fog lights use 9006 / HB4, and the front turn signal / front parking light uses a 7443 dual filament style bulb.
