Description

For sale are a pair of 12 inch Guitar Speakers (circa 1960s) with Alnico Magnets. These vintage guitar speakers are in great condition and works well without any issues. They are both 16 ohm speakers, so the pair would work well as replacements in an 8 ohm twin cabinet. They both have 1-1/2 inch voice coils along with fairly large Alnico magnets. The ribbed cone one was made by Utah in the 2th week of 1965. It similar to the 1950s Jensen P12N (both construction and tone wise). The smooth bell-shaped cone one was made by Utah in the 4th week of 1963. It is also similar the P12N, but with a more earlier style cone offering increased midrange presents and more subtle highs. Together they give a wonderful vintage American tone. $80 cash (for pair) with local pickup only. Thank you for looking.
