Description

Do you have an unsightly neighbor that doesn't give two hoots about the look of their yard and wish there was a quick fix to screen them out? Do you live in a subdivision with fence height restrictions and still want privacy? Miscanthus Giganteus perennial grass is the answer. Miscanthus Giganteus grasses are a great way to get around the height limitation of fences since they tower above them year after year. This gorgeous grass can reach heights over 12 feet tall. Once established, they will be almost 8' by the end of June. They provide a great privacy screen and beautify any yard with its immense height! Also helps prevent ground erosion. You can even leave them up all winter as they turn golden brown.   I've just potted them up so they can still fit in your car or truck. They are in 9" pots and ready to be transplanted into your yard. Like last year, I have a limited supply so get them before they are gone. I typically sell them as fast as I can dig them up which is usually within a couple weeks. So it's first come first serve. Not sure how many pots you'll need? A good rule of thumb is to plant the pots on center every 1.5 feet in staggered rows. So if you are trying to create a privacy screen for a 24' x 6' area, you would need 16 Pots per row x 4 rows totalling 64 pots. (24/1.5)' * (6/1.5)' = 64 Pots They will grow together in about 2 to 3 years providing a great scenic fence and privacy screen. Available for pickup upon appointment.   If you schedule a pickup before 4/28/18, you have the option of getting larger rhizomes without the pot which makes transporting them much easier and twice as much plant for the same price - $15. Just plant them in your yard.
