Kenwood KDC-225MR Marine CD MP3 FM/AM Radio Receiver Sirius Satellite Radio Ready - Detachable Face comes with protective carrying case. *This is labeled as a Kenwood Marine stereo which is originally designed to be installed into boats. From my research they're designed a little more tough to still work on a water craft. You can still install it into a car but you may need to buy an adapter. Condition is "Factory Reconditioned" which is actually better than "Refurbished". Factory reconditioned means it went back to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to be tested and - if necessary - repaired. In the case of a repair, they typically replace parts. As such, the unit will often look and function as if new. For Refurbished items there's no standard of who does it and or what is being done. Essentially someone can do a wipe down and label it as Refurbished.
