September of 2024 I went to buy my first car with my father as my co-signer. Our salesman was Noah. I chose the car and discussed down payment and they ran our credit and came back with a deal. Weeks later they ask us for more proof of income and paystubs. We find out that the deal did not in fact go through and they had been running my fathers credit without us knowing. Months go by and they asked us to return the car after getting letters that the car was going to be towed but they said it was a mistake on their end. Little did we know that no deal has been settled. We went back twice to sign new paperwork. The deal was never closed and they were lying to us. Be aware that our credit kept getting ran without us knowing for them to find us a lender. Months go by and we get a ticket in the mail from fast track! They have the car under my dads name still and it is March 2025. This dealership definitely doesn’t know what they are doing and they run your credit after you leave without you knowing after your loan apparently went through! Dealership has been reported to better business bureau.

This is my first time ever purchasing a car from a dealership and also going in alone due to my partner working over 12 hours everyday. I had to use my judgement and checked out the car on my own. Orlando worked with me and answered every questions I had and helped ease my anxiety. My partner were looking for a car that is perfect for a future family so I wanted a reliable purchase. I had just.purchaced a car and a little over a month later someone t-boned me. The car was totaled. Orlando was able to get me into a very nice SUV within the price range needed for my income. Great experience!

I waited a few months to post this because most used car lots are nice and helpful until they get you into a car and you sign the paperwork, but then show there true colors when there are problems. And unfortunately that's what happened here! They promised to fix 2 very minor issues that I noticed when we bought it, but never arranged it. When we called and asked about it we got the run around, the ignition went out 2 months after getting it and they sent us to their mechanic in Lodi who contacted the Warranty company that said we are not in their system!! So we had to wait another week and a half to get it fixed, my wife missed work time because of this, it has had more issues since! They sold us a lemon and don't care about taking care of the 2 minor things they said they would fix(which is in writing), I got tired of the BS and just fixed them myself, don't waste your time here! We got a terrible deal!

What an adventure we had today at Approved Auto Center in Lodi. We went looking for an affordable car for my father not really expecting too much from a used car lot but, boy was I wrong. Donald Knowles greeted us with a smile and a handshake like a true gentleman. He was professional at every turn, and we never felt like he was trying to hide anything to just make a quick sale. Thank you, Donny, for making our experience one to remember.
