Description

A true Franken-lectro…this guitar has a story. Many years ago the late 50’s body was converted from a U-1 to a U-2. (Extra rout and pickup) the original “peanut”translucent guard has a flickering glitter backing and is quite psychedelic changing colors as the body moves. The original dolphin neck is long gone. A short scale 1967 Dano Hawk neck was found and fitted. The 21 fret neck w/ raised script logo is straight w no fret wear. Has replacement metal button Kluson styled tuners. The bridge is a well known Jeff Senn DRB2 tele style upgrade with brass barrels. It plays quite easily feeling short scale and has a wide fretboard relatively speaking very easy for chords/notes. This is basically a one of a kind custom shop vintage Dano refinished in a polar white. Though not a pro refinish, it is quite passible and gleams. Sounds glassy w great sustain for a Dano.
