Vintage Danish 9-Drawer Highboy Dresser – Nordisk Andels-Eksport

Authentic vintage Danish modern 9-drawer highboy dresser by Nordisk Andels-Eksport of Copenhagen, Denmark. Original Nordisk Andels-Eksport “Made in Denmark” maker’s label remains attached to the back. Beautiful richly grained wood construction/veneer, believed to be teak, with rounded edges, clean Scandinavian lines and integrated recessed drawer pulls. I have not independently verified the exact wood species, so I don’t want to represent it definitively as teak or rosewood. Features a great 9-drawer layout with three smaller drawers across the top and six large full-width drawers below, providing a ton of storage without taking up a huge footprint. Believed to date from approximately the 1960s–1970s. There are only a few very minor surface scuffs/marks from normal use, which I’ve tried to show clearly in the photos. Otherwise it is extremely clean. No major scratches, gouges, chips or structural issues. The drawer interiors are also very clean and all nine drawers function properly. A comparable Nordisk Andels-Eksport 9-drawer Danish highboy is currently listed by a vintage furniture dealer for approximately $1,800. Asking $1,500 OBO. Smoke-free home. Pickup in Hermosa Beach. Please note: This is a large and very heavy vintage dresser. It is currently inside the house and will need to be carried out and down a few steps. Buyer will need to bring at least one additional person to help move it and an appropriately sized vehicle.
