Description

I am selling as used but it is new and unused. The unit sat in my garage for a while collecting dust and the box with manual got lost along the way. I can look around to see if I can find it but it can be downloaded easily. MFG $999.00 shipping maybe possible if needed we can set it up. Lucid beats anything I have heard below the level of Apogee, Benchmark, and Myteks and it competes very well with Apogee Rosetta, Benchmark etc. The Ad9624 Has more depth and clarity than previous converters, there are a lot of great options out there right now but I cannot think of any that gets the the quality of Lucid for anywhere close to the price. An A/D converter converts analog signals, usually voltage, into digital format. The conversion involves a series of steps, including sampling, quantization, and coding. An AD/DA converter translates the electrical signals used in analog equipment into digital data and vice versa, so that it can be understood by digital equipment such as a computer. The Lucid AD9624 is used in professional recording studios. Some say that the Lucid is cheaper than the RME ADI-2, and that it has the better A/D converter. Others say that the Lucid beats anything they have heard below the level of Apogee, Benchmark, and Myteks. Take your digital recording system to the next level with the addition of the AD9624. This converter bridges the gap between analog and digital equipment with transparent audio conversion. True 24-bit resolution is the best way to record and process all the detail the human ear can hear. The AD9624 supports sample rates of 96kHz, 88.2kHz, 48kHz, 44.1kHz, and 32kHz. What’s more, the AD9624’s noise shaping function enhances the clarity of low-level material for superior imaging and realism when creating 16-bit masters. Stereo 24-bit, precision A/D conversion Internally generated sample rates of 96kHz, 88.2kHz, 48kHz, 44.1kHz, and 32kHz and external sync via Word Clock User-selectable, 16-bit noise shaping Simultaneous AES/EBU (XLR) and S/PDIF (coaxial and TOSLINK) digital outputs 20-segment input level LED ladders with peak hold and clip indicator Multiple Connections for Flexible Operation The AD9624 accepts analog input via XLR connectors and outputs its digital bit stream simultaneously through professional AES/EBU and consumer S/PDIF (coaxial and optical TOSLINK) connectors. A front panel headphone output provides a convenient way to monitor audio levels. Finishing Touches Make All the Difference Easy-to-read, 20-segment LED ladders show you exactly where to set I/O controls for optimal A/D conversion. Rack the AD9624 next to the DA9624 using a Lucid RM-4 rack mount tray, or use the AD9624 on its own for your specific interface requirements. Specs Frequency Response For sample rates of 88.2 kHz and 96 kHz: 20 Hz to 40 kHz (+/–1 dB) For Sample Rates of 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz: 20 Hz to 20 kHz (+/–1dB) For 32 kHz sample rate: 20 Hz to 15 kHz (+/–1 dB) Internally Generated Sample Rates: 32, 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96 kHz and external sync via word clock Dynamic Range: >114 dB, A-weighted Analog Input Impedance: 20 kOhms balanced, 10 kOhms unbalanced Maximum analog input level at full CCW: +25 dBu balanced Maximum Analog Input Level at Full CW: -5 dBu balanced Analog Inputs: Balanced XLR Digital Outputs: AES3 (XLR), S/PDIF (coaxial), and TOS-LINK (optical) Word Clock Input: BNC Power Supply: External AC (Lucid PS-3 or PS-3E) using 7 pin DIN connector Physical 1/2U Chassis (H x W x D): 1.72 in. x 8.5 in. x 8 in.
