Description

Bright, handmade/hand painted and vintage from the late 1970s. Large parrot: measures 28” tall and comes with a perch wrapped in brass metal all around measuring 20” by 17”. From the tail of parrot to top loop of perch totals 32”. Purchased by us personally, this macaw parrot was made in Mexico. Handmade and hand painted paper mache or papier-mâché, The paint has light cracking from age, but the colors are still quite vivid. Yellow, red, blue and green. See photos for condition. Some scuffing; I have not repaired or altered it in any way. Is missing one foot. A stunning art piece that can be hung from the ceiling in a Sunroom or would look amazing in a business or Restaurant as a decorative piece. Brightens any room. The brass/metal perch is all original. From a smoke free, pet free home. Original owner. Art piece is not signed that I could see. I have a few other parrots listed as well. Pick up in Cameron Park 95682.
