1989 Colbalt Boat

1989 Cobalt Boat - Model: 203 Condurre - Closed bow with underneath V-berth - Walk-thru windshield with steps - Length: 20ft - Weight: 3200lbs - Fuel capacity: 42 gal - Seats: 6 - Equipped with optional seating consisting of bolster captains chairs and sundeck. Seating has light sun damage but still very functional - Interior overall needs a good cleaning. - Swim platform, swim ladder, and Bimini top - Engine: 350 (GM) 5.7ltr (the original engine was a Mercruiser 350 which was replaced 2 years ago with the current GM 350 which came from a Chevy Suburban. Previous owner said the motor ran fine afterwards but now the engine will not start. Engine turns over and is not locked up. Issue may be bad fuel, dirty carb, or electrical related). I’ve tried to get the motor to start but have been unable. - Mercruiser Alpha One outdrive tilts, trims, and trailers fine - Built-in Sony aftermarket stereo with 4 speakers and power antennae - Locking ski locker, insulated ice chest, and self-draining anchor compartment with anchor on bow - Dual battery set-up with battery selector switch and two batteries - Interior lighting and built-in cup holders throughout - Full dashboard instrumentation including tach, speedo, temp, water pressure, trim/tilt, voltage, and hummingbird fish finder - Tandem axle trailer with surge brakes (needs new shoes), folding trailer tongue, buddy bearings, chrome wheels, 4 tires have excellent tread (no dry rot). 4-pin flat electrical plug. Bow winch, folding jack. Trailer will need rust repair but still tows fine. Boat was used at Lake Tahoe most of its life until it was brought to SD two years ago. The boat was always covered and the hull still shines to a high luster. This is a very nice boat that could be an easy fix. Or, install a low hour replacement motor and enjoy the boat for little investment. Colbalt boats are industry leaders in quality and workmanship and they retain their value. This boat has a resale value of $8-$10K when running. I currently have too many projects that need my attention at this time. Boat and trailer come with clear CA titles and are currently registered.
