Actual recent photo of it after it came apart. I bought the truck and it was a $575 Option but it wasn’t properly fastened down and it broke the case holding the cable spool, launching it and the cable off my truck almost through a windshield.    Previous owner used it a year before I got it and I found out the hard way that there were mount bolts missing.     The center part snapped while moving a big load. The electric winch motor still ran after but the case was in three pieces. The fairlead and spool took out a windshield. The bracket between the motor and other end was broken. The original steel cable is being used.
