Not sure where I acquired this but it's from 1894 March 6th number 8134 copper fire extinguisher with the mixing ball inside. Based on people asking about this... He weighs 11.4 lb. If it was 100% copper that would be about $56 ish in copper at the local recycling yard. If I had to deduce that it has about a pound of brass on it brass is 250 a pound copper is $4.95 a pound... Which comes to about $54 if you buy this and sell it for scrap. It's an antique it's worth more as a collectible antique probably twice that so I would suggest you not recycle it.
