Crafted at the Bermuda Glass Blowing Studio, now closed, making this piece especially scarce. Excellent vintage condition overall — no cracks or repairs. Fascinating Fun Facts: • The Bermuda Glass Blowing Studio was founded by Stephen Zawistowski, an apprentice of Franco Toffolo (a Murano master who worked at Venini in Italy). • This links the clown figurines of Bermuda back to the Venetian tradition of Murano glass artistry. • The studio has since closed, adding to the scarcity and collectibility of these rare clowns (fewer than 10 examples are documented in collector circles). • Millefiori means “a thousand flowers” — colorful glass canes sliced into flower-like patterns and fused into the piece. • Sommerso means “submerged” — layering brilliant colors within clear glass for depth and sparkle.
