These hold 300lbs total or 150lbs per handle They're essentially brand new and barely ever used while being stored inside. Without the adapters, they can fit 1 inch standard plates, with the centering adapters, you can fit olympic 2 inch sized plates as well or a combination of both. -there are 2 sets of adapters making 8 total They are brand new and I love the quality on these. You can tell the design is well engineered and they can last a life time + you can drop them. Note: These are most ideal for someone with a home gym who has olympic and or standard plates and wants to load up heavy dumbbells while being budget and space conscious -they're great because they have a flat end so that you can lay them on your knees, before any sort of pressing Note: These may not be ideal for someone elderly or a complete beginner. Both my father and my partner did not use anything past 35 lbs thus having to frequently change weights from 5 to 10 to 15 lbs became more tedious and impractical than they preferred.
