But the bike and motor works perfectly and and makes for a solid electric beach cruiser for anyone without kids. (all the rest of the parts are in tact). 4-5 hours of charge overnight gets you a full battery. Used to ride with the 2 kids from North Redondo (Artesia & Inglewood) to Hermosa Pier, to Manhattan Beach Pier, down past Redondo Pier to Torrance County Beach and then back to Hermosa Pier and back to North Redondo… and still had 2-3 out of the 6 bars on the battery. This was with 2 kids. Without the mileage range would be much higher. If you have kids and want to use this with kids you could attach a kids bike trailer and it works perfect.
