Strong 4200 horizontal router table. Original all steel and aluminum. The design and dies were later bought out by shopsmith and sold as the JointMatic but they used plastic for a few parts so the original Strong version is the more desirable model. It doesn't come with the feather board or angled miter gauge but those are easily fabricated. Router slides up and down smoothly, fits any medium sized router and includes a good working Porter Cable router and three brand new different sizes of collets for router bits. These table is the ORIGINAL model, made by Strong Tool. Shop smith purchased the rights to this and produced a different version that contained plastic parts. This table has a solid cast-alloy frame and arms and a large 13 3/4 inch by 22 inch table. The original cost of this unit was $699 and it is nearly impossible to find now. A recent search showed one on eBay in Michigan on sale for $800 plus approximately $150 for shipping; the last photo in this listing is of the one for sale on eBay. I included it so that you could compare and see that my asking price is well below what that seller is asking. They sometimes come up for sale but are usually the cheaper-made ShopSmith version that is typically broken in places. My listing for this table shows it is very SOLID and chain-driven (see photos!). It can also be used to cut dovetails and mortises. What you see is what you get (except for the router bit shown in one photograph; that is not included but the three brand new collets are. This table is HEAVY and very solid! There are no cracks and everything slides very easily! I do not have a manual however I do have a link that I can forward to whomever purchases this machine that will take you to a 20-plus PDF file of the manual that you can download and print. My price is negotiable (within reason!) so don’t lowball! This machine doesn’t last long whenever it does come up for sale so get it while you can - you won’t be disappointed and the included Porter Cable router is very powerful and will cut quickly and easily!
