Description

This is truly one of a kind classic style Eames RAR fiberglass Armchair. Custom psychedelic upholstery and orange base. The chair below the upholstery the the classic dark navy color. Birch or walnut runners? Red orange shell. In great shape, has normal signs of age and wear. Was purchased in Soho NYC many year ago from vintage dealer. I’m not sure of age, likely 60s? Ive read also from 1968 to 1984, Herman Miller did continue to give a rocking chair to all employees with new born babies. These were always upholstered and in the desired shell color choice of the receiver and each one was also adorned with a personalized plaque. Ive not been able to find another one like it and assume it was a custom made chair. Moving out of the country and downsizing lots of vintage and personal collection pieces. Asking $1350 or best offer
