Description
One of a kind, all made by hand with hand tools…. Handhewn. Built by a fascinating guy who is a Native American fine artist, luthier, and carpenter in South Dakota. Unique instrument. A real piece of art. It’s only the second guitar he ever made. Everything done by hand, with hand tools. Semi hollow telecaster. Arrow carve on back of neck. Build was documented with video. Really unique piece of playable art. His paintings sell for real $ in galleries. Intentionally rough around the edges. Chunky neck at my request. Rolled edges of the fingerboard. Truss Rod. Wilkinson tuners. Fender pickups. Brass saddles. Zero fret with string guide. Screws as a string trees. It’s intentionally balanced and based off of some principles of nature as well as Native American flute making. It’s a completely unique piece. It’s made out of red oak and the sound holes are red oak leaves. It’s a pretty amazing piece. Plays great. Finances only force sale. Played only a few hours. Asking less than I paid. So it goes. He’s a very interesting and cool guy as well. With a heck of a life story. Needs new switch. I’m into it for 2x what I’m asking.
