Nakamichi CR-7 Cassette Deck Fully Serviced Complete Recapped

NAKAMICHI CR-7A CASSETTE DECK RECAPPED FULLY SERVICED  October 2022. All work was done by a certified Nakamichi technician that worked for Nakamichi in the 90's Unit works perfectly and sounds truly amazing. Replaced the capstan belt. - Lubricated the capstan shafts, adjusted the speed, W&F 0.020% to 0.027%. - De-carbonized the reel/mode/azimuth motors. - Installed the gear idler kit. - Cleaned the heads and pinch rollers. - Adjusted the heads azimuth. - Cleaned the potentiometers using deoxit D5. - Replaced the capacitors using Nichicon FG/FW/FW in the power supply circuits, United chemicon in the logic circuits and Nichicon Muse non polar/Elna Silmic II in the audio circuits. - Installed a battery socket and new battery. - Increased the value of the +12V power supply filter cap from 6800uF to 10000uF and -12V from 1000uf to 2200uF. - Increased the value of the Dolby and play amp power supply filter caps from 100uf to 470UF. - Upgraded the record eq. circuit. - Upgraded the audio path 1uF electrolytic caps using KEMET film caps. - Calibrated the electronics for correct levels. - Tested for at least 30 hours.
