This beautiful statement making clutch was a part of Gucci's 2015 Special Edition Flora collection, specially designed by artist Kris Knight. This collection saw Gucci's Creative Director, Frida Giannini, collaborating with artist Kris Knight on a unique interpretation of its iconic Gucci print. According to Gucci, the floral pattern took on new meaning in Kris Knight's subversive reading of the floral bouquet featuring nocturnal blossoms revolving around the moonflower. Each bloom was symbolic of a unique Roman story, as it reached its height at night, dawn or dusk. Frida Giannini applied the new pattern to a variety of her designs for the Cruise 2015 season - from men's and women's ready-to-wear to used. This is a rare piece of an even rarer collection.
