2008 Ford Ranger

2008 Ford Ranger XLT 4WD 4.0 L engine, automatic 155,000 miles With half-shell camper and rack. Been an excellent truck but I am selling because I’m 78 years old and want to drive a new truck for a few years while I still can. $5,000 in cash. No checks. No partial payments. Edmunds and Kelly Blue Book say it is worth between $4,800 and $6,500, depending on condition. I don’t know what sort of condition a 17 year old truck is suppose to be in so you can judge yourself if it is “rough”, “average”, or “clean” condition . It is not in “outstanding” condition because I have used it to haul firewood, large rock, many tons of sand & gravel, and much more. The windshield is cracked and has a dented passenger-side rear fender (see photos). AC, stereo and CD player all work well. Tires are two year old all season Michelins with lots of life left. I have not washed the engine compartment so you can see that it is not leaking any fluids. It has been parked in front of my house for the last 15 years so you can check to see if there have been any leaks. Sometimes it has a goofy “squeaking pulley sound” when it first starts and my mechanic checked but could not find the cause. Been that way for about 5 years and hasn’t gotten better or worse, so I just lived with it.
