Description
19th century Chinese 4 legged bowl made with red lacquered wood and cords. This large oval bowl rests on four tall fine legs. Two cords adorn the belly and add faux support to the bowl. The bowl is largely painted with a red lacquer, except the inside which shows the natural white oak. The bowl displays a dark patina that contrasts with the bright red lacquer. The white oak has darkened with age. Asking $135
