Vintage 18x18 inch Wood/Leather Chess Board (35) Ceramic Pcs SUPERB!

There are many cheap chess sets but you will not find anything like this in a store...unless it has a huge price on it that is. A solid wood block base with fabric covered bottom and what looks like hammer formed leather on the surface and raised decorative edges. Extra large 18 inch square and the 2 sets of ceramic pieces are in a washed turquoise and faded charcoal. Extra large pieces (see the photos of pawns and king in my hand) as the kings and queens are huge and the pawns larger than the kings in a usual smaller set. A great decorative piece that you can play as well. There are 2 full sets of 16 pieces and 3 extra pieces. I went over each one and of all 35, only 1 has a small chip. Thats it. The vintage sets on Ebay that are similar but not as large, are all well over $100. This is NOT the recent Chinese imports that are carved soapstone figures and tested to have radioactive and toxic chemicals. This is a hard wood base and kiln fired ceramic pieces.
