Description
Maker: Dartmouth Ski Co. Color: natural wood Year: 1(contact info removed)'s Beautiful pair of kid's wooden skis made by Dartmouth Ski Co. and sold at Iver Johnson Sporting Goods Co. in Boston MA. Dartmouth Co-op was founded in 1919 by John Paine and sadly passed away in 1968. They focused on outdoor sporting gear including skis. John imported Skis from Europe until the company started making their own in 1932. They started distributing them to famous and uprising department stores like Iver Johnson and a handful of others. Dartmouth Skis were the main suppliers & designers of ski equipment to the allies in WWII. These skis are stamped with Dartmouth Skis as well as the pattern # and actually have the Iver Johnson plaque. Everything is there and original as well as functional. Dartmouth skis are one of the most collectible among the pickiest. This pair looks to be a kids' set judging by the length. Please see pics for details. Please pick up in Hudson NH. I can help you load. Curbside delivery available and cost depends on distance. Please check out some my other listings or come see everything in person. I have a lot of quality furniture and vintage/antique items. Cash or card accepted. Thank you for looking! Dimensions: 46"L x 2.5"W
