Description

Story behind the ski I bought the ski brand new and I am the original owner. Unfortunately I got involved in spice/k2 in 2010 got indicted in 2013, went to prison in 2015, got out end 2019. Rode it in 2020 and I have not rode it since. It sat from 2013-2019 then from 2020 until present. Was only used 4-5 times a season from 2001-2012. This has had most modifications done that increase speed and handling except carbon fiber, pistons bored or heads milled. Those engine mods drastically reduce reliability and that is why they were not done and almost every mod was. Also has Zeiman Trailer. The ski always worked great and I never had any issues with it. I used to have big bucks so the ski was always well maintained. You can take to a mechanic and have it inspected. To make sure crank case, engine, pistons etc are all in good shape if you want. I’m selling because I do not have a way to get it to the lake, no where to store it and no friends to go with. You will need a new battery, the seat reupholstered and all the other maintaince after a long storage period. Why Spend 25k on a top of the line new one when will out perform most of them for 1/5th price! Was clocked at 73.5 mph, speedometer says way higher but that’s not accurate. The main mods I remember are triple pipes, intake grate, ride plate ( I think both of those are r n d ) total loss fly wheel ( puts less strain on the crank case and improves reliability see google ai images) so you will have to charge the battery after each use because flywheel does not charge battery. Impeller, d plate, high performance air filters and I think some mods to the carburetor, reed stuffers ( or high performance reeds) I just know I spent 7k in 2001 on the ski and close to or slightly over 10k on modifications it’s hard to remember exactly what you spent on something 20 years ago. But this thing is a rocket! It’s a heavy ski so it takes a couple seconds to get on top of the water but from about 17mph to 60 mph is instant! Ive had grown men afraid to ride it because it was is so fast! It literally sounds like a formula 1 race car, premix has been disabled so you have to premix fuel. Im pretty sure these were done also flame arrestors, CDI, free flow exhaust. Google triple pipes GP1200r Notice how you will see it increases horsepower without putting strain on the engine. Google Total Loss Flywheel Gp1200r Once again you will see info on increasing reliability and taking strain off the engine/crankcase and bearings. With this ski you get the racing ski performance without the racing ski pain in the ass repairs! You would need to spend 25k on a new one to get this type of performance.
