Antique Steamer Trunk (c. 1880–1915) – Original Hardware, Solid, Great Patina

Authentic late 19th–early 20th century steamer trunk with original metal hardware and beautifully aged patina. This is a solid, well-built travel trunk from the golden age of rail and ocean liner travel—far older than it looks and full of character. Constructed with wood slats and reinforced with metal bands, it features ornate stamped steel corner guards, latches, and a central lock. The interior still retains its original patterned paper lining, showing honest wear consistent with age. No modern “distressing”—this is genuine history. Perfect as a statement coffee table, blanket chest, or decorative storage in a living room, bedroom, or studio. Also appealing to collectors of antique travel pieces.
