Description

Up for sale is a 1966 Burke Millrite MVI. Specs are as follows; -1 HP, 220 volt, 3 phase motor -8" x 32" table with 5/8" slots -R8 spindle, 250 - 3,400 rpm with current motor. -1,250 lbs. -69" tall -48" wide -46" deep This is one of the most capable of the "garagable" mills out there. This particular model has the heavier knee/table and larger knee screw (1-3/8") than the 7" x 27" model, but is narrower than the 36" table model, making it better for confined spaces. I don't have a handle for the knee, but they can be purchased online or shop made. I have one for my other mill that you can use to run the knee up and down to check it out. All the ways have been lubed up with Vactra and slide smoothly. The spindle has no detectable slop. The mill could be used as is but a deep clean/tune up wouldn't hurt. The switch box has been removed if you plan to run a VFD but I have a Dayton switch and a length of 4-wire cable if you plan to run it on 3 phase power. The motor runs fine but I don't have three phase power at my shop. I may be able to break out some wires off another VFD but do not assume you will be able to see it under power.
