ATTENTION ! All three mowers need work. Recommended maintenance and/repairs are as follows: 1. Cub Cadet - yellow. Features - Electric start. Bag, mulch, or side discharge option, rechargeable lithium ion battery (good for up to 25 starts ,or more per charge). Variable speed self-propelled. Approx 8 years old. Recommendations - One day, while I was mowing my yard, the mower suddenly started smoking (burning oil - white smoke). Strangely, the smoke became much heavier when I turned sharply to the left, as opposed to mowing straight or turning right. 2. Craftsman - red. Features - Bag, mulch, or side discharge option. Recommendation - My son used this mower at his place and then left it full of gas over the winter. Not surprisingly, he couldn't start it the following spring, and so he "gifted" it to me. I think the carburetor needs to be cleaned and maybe a new carb gasket kit. 3. YardMan - green. Features - Self-propelled, Honda engine, mulch, or side discharge options. Recommendations - I picked this mower up at a yard sale. The seller said it ran, but that they couldn't keep it running without constantly revving it. I confirmed their story and purchased a carb rebuild kit online. I don't remember what happened, but I got distracted with another project and never rebuilt the carburator. I'm moving out of state in a few weeks, so someone else will have the pleasure of owning a decent mower (after investing a few more dollars and some time) for a fraction of the cost of a computers model.
