Description
I’m selling my awesome 1996 22 foot powerquest precept deep v open bow boat that’s been very good to me since I bought it from inland boats in 2007 in Perris. Never lets me down. It’s never had an hour meter! But 2 trips a year to Laughlin for the last 17 years. Of course I keep up with all the maintenance . It’s got a 7.4 mercuiser bravo 1 drive. Impeller, oil, lower unit oil all changed out and bellows, gimbal bearings and a seal kit for the upper drive. It has trim tabs for that nice ride in rough waters. 52- 55 mph in whatever conditions. I’ve had it at 64 mph without the trim tabs but it’s a much safer and smoother ride when it gets rough. It’s got a killer system in it that features 4 - 6/9’s , 4 round 5” speakers, 2 tweeters and 1 15”woofer. I just put in a switch at the back of the boat to lower and raise the engine for convenience. Don’t have to jump in the boat to raise and lower it. That’s for us old people lol. Bimini top. The stripes on the side have been redone in 2009 and looks great. Always keep it waxed. The interior is in great shape, no cracking or fading. Ski locker that is big enough for a person to fit in. lots of storage. I just went out for Easter to Mojave Lake and like always it ran like a top. Went from Katherines to pass searchlight (50 miles trip). Oh almost forgot , it has captain call to quiet it down when you want to enjoy conversation with everyone. But it sounds awesome when it comes out the thru transom. It has a couple blue lights under the swim step to look cool at night. This is the smallest boat powerquest makes. They make the cigarette boat out in Michigan. ( Great Lakes). Every thing works ( all gages lights ( blue lights inside) carpet is great. And the most important part of this boat is that the floor and underneath the seats are all fiberglass not exposed wood. So , no wood rot. I use the boat maybe twice a year in Laughlin for the last 10 years. But I start and let the boat run every month or two. To keep all the part lubricated. Both batteries are good and yes it has a switch to go from 1 to 2 or both batteries. It has a power engine hatch also. If you want a boat that has been babied and taken care of this is the one. Not junk like I see others trying to sale. Only reason I’m selling it is because I’ve bought a bigger boat. More pictures will be posted. But you know pictures of boats are deceiving anyways. Got to see with your own eyes. Trying to find them lol This is a turn key boat. Needs nothing. The trailer is a galvanized trailer with rollers not the bunkers. So no worries of the bunkers rotting. ( best in my opinion because it will never rust). Tires are good. Bearings are always greased every trip- no exceptions. Oh ya , it has everything powder coated like the swim ladder inside the boat. And a cool blue steering wheel and throttle. Also, the driver and passenger seats are swivel and adjustable. It has a stainless steel prop. Under the whole back seat is an ice chest built in with drain. This boat has always been under a roof , no water getting on the boat cover and then into the boat. That’s why the white of the boat is white and the stripes still look new. It has a removable table that goes in the middle of all the back seats. This is a leave most boats behind you boat. Not many will pass you on Mahove lake when the winds pop up. Unless they have a 496. Only been in fresh water , river mostly. Asking 15k obo. Or trade for a Harley street glide. Thanks for looking.
