Vintage Coro Duette Quivering Camellia Trembler Brooch Fur Clip Pin Rhinestones Beautiful pair of art deco vintage (1930’s) Coro Duette features “Quivering Camellia” trembler flowers accented with rhinestones and enamel. They were used as fur or dress clip pins, also known as a Duette. It's a camellia flower raised design--highly engineered and dimensional--plus the rhinestone flower quivers when you move! It's a remarkable design using a spring action inside the head of the flower, which gives the baguettes and central red stone a subtle movement. Each dress or fur clip pin has clear and red baguette rhinestones, lots of small round clear rhinestones, and a large red rhinestone center of each flower. Green enamel covers the two largest leaves on each clip. This Coro Duette is a book piece. It can be found in multiple books. This design is featured on page 79 of Costume Jewelry by Judith Miller. A photo of the page is included. SEE PHOTOS FOR MEASUREMENTS Item shows wear consistent with age and use but still displays beautifully. Some of the metallic gold is worn away and only 1 tiny rhinestone is missing. Please use photos as main part of the description. In modern today I would think that these clips would be beautiful clipped onto some black heels or fancy flats, onto a purse/bag, onto a dress coat or as intended...a fur, scarf, sweater, etc. I do my best to capture the actual color in my photographs, but there can be distinctions.
