Description
The 9169GS was introduced back in 1988 and the first real lampworking model to incorporate bead doors also known as “doggy doors” and flip down point rests to help elevate points or blow tubes to keep them level with the kiln floor. Full steel construction, high temperature metallic paint, guillotine main door with balanced counterweight, bead door for garaging, and analog temperature controls, make this a great piece of equipment for any skill level. Not much has changed with this well known classic over the last three decades. It’s still simple to use and maintain, has an inexpensive daily operating cost, and as dependable as it was when we designed it many years back. The 9169GS was designed for bead making, solid sculpture, hollow vessel, multi sectional, and a variety of other glass working needs. It has a recommended maximum temperature of 1400F, and carries our standard 1 year electrical and lifetime craftsmanship warranty. Item is heavy and works
