Y’all, gather ‘round, because Kat from Texas has a tale to tell about snagging a drop-dead gorgeous 2022 BMW 330e from the comedy trio at LA City Cars: Jesse Leeman, Andre Makinadjian, and Ross Samya. I’m out here in the Lone Star State, sipping sweet tea and dodging tumbleweeds, while my parents are living it up in LA. So naturally, I decided to negotiate a car deal 1,300 miles away—because who doesn’t love a challenge, right? Spoiler: I won, and it’s all thanks to Jesse Leeman and his crew!

First off, Jesse Leeman, the salesman with a smile brighter than a Texas sun, was my point man. I called him up, probably sounding like a cowgirl lost in a BMW showroom, and he didn’t miss a beat. “Kat, we’re gonna get you that 330e faster than you can say ‘yee-haw,’” he promised. I’m over here in Texas, texting my parents in LA to “please don’t embarrass me,” and Andre’s making sure the deal’s smoother than a Longhorn’s hide. He’s the calm to Jesse Leeman’s storm, keeping everything on track while I’m trying not to sound like a total rookie negotiating my first big-girl car.

And let’s not forget Ross Samya, the sales manager who’s basically the puppet master of this operation. I’m pretty sure he could sell ice to a penguin, because he had me—a Texan with no LA street cred—feeling like I’d just roped the deal of the century. Between Ross Samya’s slick moves and Jesse Leeman’s charm, I was ready to two-step my way to the bank.

The 330e? Oh, she’s a beauty—sleek, shiny, and so quiet I could sneak up on a rattlesnake. I did all the negotiating from my porch in Texas, yelling “Take it or leave it!” into my phone like I was on Shark Tank, and these guys didn’t flinch. My parents in LA were probably sipping lattes, clueless that their little Kat was out here wrangling a BMW like a pro. When that 330e rolled up to my driveway, I about cried—it’s prettier than a bluebonnet field in spring!

Jesse Leeman deserves a medal—or at least a cold Shiner Bock—for being my long-distance car whisperer. Andre Makinadjian kept the chaos in check, and Ross Samya tied it all up with a bow.
